W9BSA for Events
The Council Amateur Radio call can be used for special events. Before using the call sign, permission must be requested from the station license trustee. The call sign can be used for District Camp-O-Rees, Council wide events, Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and on other special Scouting occasions. The use of the station license will be granted to Scouters age 21 and over who have in their possession a valid FCC issued Amateur Radio License. Request for the use of the license will be granted on a first come first served basis. To obtain permission contact the license trustee.
